Week 5: Read the following Early American Poems poems and
Answer the questions to analyze each of them.
Study all AofBF Vocabulary
Study for the AofBF Test on September 24 (next class!)
- Study all questions from HW
- Study all notes from class
- Study all vocabulary--use the quizzes
- Know basic B.F. timeline
- Be able to write different compound sentences (IC, conj IC. IC;IC. IC; ConjAd, IC.)
GRAMMAR: Write two sentences with each Complex formula on page 34-35 of ANG.
Week 5 Journal--Write your journal on your own lined paper and save it in your notebook.
You will write one journal each week, and these will be taken up together on September 24.
(NEXT WEEK!) Label each journal entry with a title and date.

Write a poem in your journal about your dreams and aspirations for your life.
Use free verse or rhyme, have meter or don't, use just words, just phrases, or full sentences.
Get creative, and have fun! Your poem should have at least eight lines.
