Read the stories from Introduction to Mythology for Kids and fill in the opposite page using this information. Two HW sheets will be checked at the beginning of each class.
Remember to write at least one sentence about the three characters. Ex: Harry, a boy with glasses and a scar, is the protagonist, and his best friends are Hermione, a brilliant student, and Ron, a red-headed comedian.

Study the information from the graphic organizer and be prepared to answer questions on a quiz in class.
4 Write a paragraph of 5-8 sentences answering the prompt. Use at least one of each of these kinds of punctuation. Punctuate your paragraph correctly.
The prompt: Do you like to read? Why or why not? If you do like to read, what is your favorite thing to read? If you don't like to read, what is something that you have listened to or watched that you enjoyed?

5. Journal: Finn MacCool got himself in trouble because of his pride. Proverbs 16:18 says, Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall." Has your pride ever gotten you into trouble? Tell about the time. If you can't think of a time, ask your siblings and/or parents to share a time with you and write about that. Write at least seven sentences and title your journal entry "PRIDE GOES BEFORE A FALL." Write the DATE on your journal entry.
