Homework--Week 1 ABof2W due September 21/23

  • 1. Fill in these vocabulary words in your ABof2W Homework Packet using the ABof2W Dictionary and study them for the quiz in class.

  • 2. Read A Boy of Two Worlds, Introduction and Chapters 1-8 (pages 8-52)

  • 3. Answer questions for Chapters 1-8 using complete sentences from your ABof2W Homework Packet.

  • 4. Write your journal entry in your journal packet.

  • 5. Grammar Assignment #5 Five Paragraph Outline (See below for details)

  • 6. Finish your Missionary Project, due in class next week.


  • Details about your Missionary Essay (about which you are making your short outline this week for grammar)

  • Essay due October 5/7

  • –Choose a missionary to read about online or from a book. This should be a DIFFERENT missionary from the one on whom you did your project. 

    –Read about this missionary from two sources. These sources will be listed on a Works Cited page with either book title and author or web page address.

    –Decide on three happenings/events/jobs in your missionary’s life to write about in your essay. 

    –List your sources in a simple list– no need to put in MLA format
