Monday class--here's your info about what to do today.
Wednesday class--this is the normal classwork/homework blogpost.

Dear Monday class--please print the ARMS Editing Notes and then flip through the slideshow. You will need to copy and correct your grammar starter (we will review it next week), take your quiz on your own paper (just write the answers) to be HANDED IN next week, and then flip through the slides on editing and FILL IN THE BLANKS in your notes. You are responsible for bringing all of this week's HW and next week's HW to class next week. (You already have it, so there's NO EXCUSE not to do it). You are welcome to do this classwork at any point during the week.  

To review, if you are in the MONDAY CLASS, you need to do the following before coming to class on Monday, February 2:

  • Print the ARMS Editing Notes
  • Flip through the SLIDESHOW
  • Take your Quiz #3 from the slideshow writing the answers on your own, lined paper
  • Watch the colon video in the slideshow and review the IC: list formula in ANG.
  • Flip through the classwork slides, watch the ARMS video, and fill in the ARMS Editing Notes
  • Complete your Week 4 HW and bring both Week 3 and Week 4 HW to class on 2/2/26.

**Note: if you are absent for the above class, you are still responsible for the grammar starter, quiz, and notes when those are given. You can complete all of this by printing the note page and flipping through the slideshow. To complete the quiz, write the ANSWERS ONLY on YOUR OWN PAPER.**

Homework from Jan 26/28

  1. In your AWiT HW Packet fill in and study the vocabulary from chapters 5-8. Be ready for a quiz on the vocab in class.
  2. Read A Wrinkle in Time chapters 7-8. (Download the PDF version here if you do not yet have a book. This is free! You should purchase or borrow a physical copy of the book as soon as possible.)
  3. In your AWiT HW Packet answer questions for Chapters 7-8 using complete sentences.
  4. Do Week 4 work in your AWiT Grammar HW Packet.
  5. Write your Week 4 journal entry in your AWiT journal packet.
  6. Work on your short using your ideas that you wrote in your HW packet. (this is due Feb. 9/11)
