Merry Christmas from the Osters and Blevins; my oldest daughter married Chase Blevins in June 2025.
My son Amos achieved Eagle in Boy Scouts, and this is a big deal!
On Sunday Dec. 21, my family went to the bluff early in the morning; therefor, we were able to see the beautiful sun rise.
Later that Sunday we opened presents with my dad and his wife.
Look! I made a beautiful dark chocolate torte.
On Christmas morning I made homemade monkey bread in a bundt pan, and I created a Christmas breakfast charcuterie spread.
Our family took pictures in matching pajamas. : )
On Christmas afternoon we drove to Alabama to open presents with my mom and my brother's family.
On December 26, my family binge watched Stranger Things Season 5, episodes 5-7. Do you see the hat Hopper is wearing? It's from an Ace Hardware in Heflin, AL that burned down in 1988. I grew up in Heflin, AL, and I went to that Ace as a kid. It's so random that Hopper, who is supposed to be living in Indiana after moving from NYC, is wearing a hat from my tiny, backwoods hometown.
After Christmas, some family from Texas came to visit. We went to the restaurant where my son washes dishes (the Craeg at McLemore) for lunch.
We also went to Rock City Enchanted Garden of Lights.
